Today, my cheap 2004 Continental GT, that I've had on my lift for the better part of the last two years, is finally finished. But not without a lot of help and speed bumps along the way. Jared Pink, as always, is the MVP. Now let's never do this again. OK, maybe one more time :)

you should buy dry ice blaster to clean up the engine and underside of the car. Once it's cleaned, it adds a couple of thousants to the vallue of the cars.

It's quite impressive that you're willing to tackle the mechanics of so many different "rare" cars. I've rebuilt a couple of engines before, but I'd never touch that one. It looks like a nightmare. So, thanks for sharing your work.

I never thought this car would ever run again. I just expected it to quietly disappear never to be mentioned again.

I've been keeping an eye on this car ever since it arrived into your hands. You took on a mammoth of a task, literally, and Jared was an invaluable workhorse, and inspiration throughout the build. It's marvellous how you've managed to give this beauty, a new lease of life. If I wasn't in the UK, I would most definitely be putting in a bid to own this delightful beast...

It's absolutely amazing! How can someone mount that engine without "reading the instructions" ,with all those components. It's incredible the amount of knowledge Jared has. I envy him for knowing so much stuff.

After a very long wait I think we all thought it would never happen.🤔 Having someone like Jared work on that motor probably saved thousands of dollars and a shit ton of time. Glad to see it all come together.

Hello Tarvarish, Glad to see her up and running, how did the ecu's work out, my 2005 rebuild has a complete 2006 body wiring harness front to back, along with a 2007 engine harness that I replaced some of the connector ends to fit the 2014 W12TT engine going in, being that in 2007 Bentley did away with the electrical engine mounts and the electrical heated thermostat, how did you deal with those faults, by adding resistors, any pinout changes needed to the engine harness at the ecu's ? It's been a 4ish year journey for me, getting very close ! ALSO, Did you repair the vacuum lines along the firewall behind the heat shields next to the steering rack ? https://youtu.be/hJIFcur1OEM Your video has given me the incentive needed to get back to my rebuild ! https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/www.6speedonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=378611 Thank you, I enjoy your channel very much ! Finally! I've been waiting forever to see this fixed. It looks and sounds awesome! Did you replace the plastic brake lines with metal? I recall that's one weakness with early Continentals: plastic lines that break and the only way to fix is drop the engine.

I'm so happy to see this car get done! These cars were my dream car (still are) and I've been watching it since Hoovie bought it. I am in total love with this car! I only wish I could afford it or you bet your butt I would snatch that thing from AutoTempest today!!! Amazing job on the repairs! Thanks again for putting it back out there, where it belongs! Thanks to AutoTempest and all of the other great sponsors that made this happen! Seriously, I love this car!

Fantastic effort, looks so good. I did a factory of the production line approximately when this was built. The level of detailing that goes into the veneer dashboard is incredible. Recall the leather hides piled up ready for computer scan looking for imperfections (they bought them from a country that doesnt use barbed wire) and were told the rejects were sent to Jaguar. The production line was amazingly clean, recall they use the biggest brake disks (rotors) ive ever seen. The guys on the production line had about 50 seconds (approx) to join the engine/transmission to the body! ( the body was prepainted in Germany and shipped to Crewe) - great to see it restored

Hey There Tavarish, I first would like to say that I have been a fan of your content for about a year or so now. Also, my uncle had the same car and the same exact spec and I think it is beyond cool that you took the time and spent the money to get that beauty running. I hope you enjoy it and that exhaust sounds amazing. Have a great day and stay safe.

Firstly I would like to compliment you on your epic reconstruction of this beast of a car and secondly for saving me from myself! I was on the verge of buying a 2009 and have been put off for life after watching Tyler and you struggle to overcome this vehicle. I guess I will now buy the 2014/5 Mercedes CL AMG that I was originally considering prior to my flirtation with Bentley instead. The Mercedes offers similar style and performance in a much more reliable and serviceable package! Thanks again for a great insight!

Subscribed to your channel because your videos are great. Please don't ever become like the other car rebuilding shows on TV with unrealistic deadlines and fake drama to lure people in. Your videos are perfect the way they are and the work you're doing on the cars is the way it should be.

Classic Tavarish - spent 1+ year rebuilding a car and sum it up all in 1 video (instead of dragging it on in 10+ episodes). Literally the only youtube re-builder to do this. Big love!

I would have started balling tears of joy when the car's engine turned over after all the hard work you two had put into this project/challenge. Such a feeling of accomplishment to bring this car back to life. Well done! Selling it off is like sending your child off into the world. Don't want to let go, but it needs to find it's new home.

Amazing result - car looks and sounds fantastic. This car really separates the men from the boys on the mechanic front. I would venture to say if you could fix this car, you could fix damn near anything. This car was totaled on labor costs alone.

$38K looks like a good price. In your video, would be good to see if you had the time to detail the engine and underside to make it look a bit less grubby than the before view.
