PSP was ahead of its time. I used to take mine to work and people were amazed that it could do music, video, photos, and play games, all in one. This was a time before smartphones came out and people were still using flip phones!

Basically the worlds first smart phone but better. Not to mention GPS as well

I wish we had a console like this in 2023. We don't really have anything else as moddable as this.

The next question to ask is… do we really need a new one? The psp can still hold up today

Just got a PSP (used) really cheap with some cosmetic damages a few days ago. It’s now jailbroken and got a new shell for it today. I really couldn’t agree more with this entire video. I got a Vita too, lol

The 3ds/ds can be easily moddable too, but the psp and ds are both amazing

Cant say im interested in 2023, but it is a really great system, and im glad to see it still has life in it, I would hook it up to my TV back in the day.

fax, but the vita was truly ahead of its time. the built in psp emulation and unimaginable psvita homebrew plus all the modern titles on it make it the best handheld imo. but everyone has their own preferences and as a psp owner I can see why people like it so much

I had the vita too. There were only a handful of good games. But luckily you can jailbreak like the psp. The failure of Sony was that they didn’t call it the PSP 2, because it definitely wasn’t treated like one.

Bro it really does Feel Like A Portable Ps2 Man .. Also I Have Vita Which Kinda Sort of Feels like Portable Ps3 . But Bro Psp Still StandS up On its Own But Vita Is What I Got Sense It Can literally do anything psp Can Including All Homebrews Etc . also on Vita the games look better than if we're on psp and can use second stick . Vita Is Literally One Of Gaming's Biggest missed opportunities psp library is better than vita Yes Hands Down Psp Had 2 GoW games Like 4 Monster hunter games 2 Tekken Games Which Both R Great BTW Grand turismo Etccccccc man U get the idea vita was undersupported. but luckily homebrew picked it up and makes it viable now using micro SD . Full Psp Libary And Ps1 Along With The Vita Libary . And Bigger better oled screen and second stick . It's My Go To Now . But I Love Psp Also But Vita Is Way Better sense I said . U Can Literally do anything psp Can along with Full homebrew ports of gtaVC Gta3 Gta San Andreas And Many Many Many more man homebrew scene Is Great on vita . sir I have a small problem on my psp 2000 . the screen is totally blue and some text in Multilanguage .It's say setting information is corrupted . press the o button to repair and restore default settings.some peoples call it like the blue screen of death. then I press o its reboot and return to the blue screen . what can I do?

Android Phones requires a lot setup(emulators,emulators settings,optimising controls etc..) and you need also look for right specs,like ones I saw which are usually suggested cost more than handheld emulators+you need to buy a controller which might not even work with your phone.

I had a Samsung that had emulation that was a battery killer
